On Saturday, December 3, @MoADsf I attended a Celebration of Food Justice Activism @MoADsf with Chef-in-Residence @bryantterry.  The morning honored the Free Breakfast for Children program started by the Black Panther Party in 1969 and the contemporary food justice work inspired by that program.  Follow us @ExCELHAY to Dig Deeper and hear Bryant Terry’s September 2016 TED Talk, “Stirring Up Political Change in the Kitchen.”

Let’s use our tables to build community….

We should definitely follow Bryant’s lead by promoting activism, culture and compassion by providing more access to nutritious and delicious plant-based foods for our children.
